Beth Lawrence, MA, CCC-SLP[/caption]As promised, here is a video showing how we teach students the "formula" for using the words, "before" and "after" in a sentence. This seems so basic, but I cannot tell you how many students were struggling with reading comprehension because they were mis-sequencing events in the story due to a lack of understanding of these simple conjunctions.
We will add some more suggestions for dealing with other conjunctions shortly!
